The Frimley
and Camberley Society of Arts
The Frimley and Camberley Society of Arts has several members from the Sandhurst
area (and would welcome more). We meet nearly every Friday evening at the France
Hill Drive Adult Learning Centre in Camberley, where we paint and enjoy workshops

Camberley
Rotaract Club
Rotaract is an opportunity to be part of a fun, dynamic organization, offering
a wide range of activities that will enable you to try something new, whilst
having a great time and meeting others. Camberley Rotaract Club covers both
Camberley and Sandhurst.We are open to anyone aged 18-29 and are involved in
everything from pub nights and meals out, to fundraising events and helping
with the local talking newspaper. Most people come along without knowing anyone

Crowthorne
and Sandhurst NCT
Crowthorne and Sandhurst NCT is run by volunteer mums and dads to provide you
with the opportunity to meet other parents in your local area. We run antenatal
classes, and have an NCT trained Breastfeeding Counsellor. We have Icebreakers
if you are new to the area, Bumps & Babes and Small Talk for those with
young babies, as well as lots of other regular events, get-togethers for mums
and dads, and our Nearly New Sales. Everyone is welcome at our Open Houses and
events, held throughout Crowthorne and Sandhurst. Our volunteers also sell bras
for breastfeeding (with a free, personal, fitting service), and hire out breast
pumps and Valley cushions (to ease the pain of sitting after birth). Further

The Savoy
Singers
Many members of the SAVOY SINGERS live in Sandhurst and the surrounding area.
Our main rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings and we perform two show each year
in Camberley Theatre. New members (chorus and principals) and back stage helpers
are always welcome. Our next production is ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD, 5th -
9th October. After that, we will commence rehearsals for the most extravagant
of the Gilbert & Sullivan operas: UTOPIA LIMITED. This will be performed

Meets at 7.30pm, the last Tuesday in the Month;

Broadmoor
Bowling Club
We would welcome members from both Sandhurst and Crowthorne area, We play in
friendly matches against other clubs, in total 70 matches during the season.
The mixed games are played on Wednesday evening also Saturday and Sunday in
the Afternoon, the Ladies have their own section and play in Ladies matches
on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, The Men also play in the Aldershot and District
league on a Tuesday evening. You will have plenty of time to practice or have
roll ups with your friends because the green is open from 9.30am to dusk for

The Crowthorne
Choral Society
The club serves the Sandhurst area just as much as it serves Crowthorne. It
is a very friendly amateur choir which rehearses in the Old Gym at Wellington
College on Monday evenings (8 to 10) during term times. It normally stages three
concerts a year often in collaboration with the College. "New singers are

Rotary
Club of Crowthorne.
The Rotary Club is a dual gender Club which meets on Wednesday evenings at the
Corus Hotel Crowthorne. We have a meal, interesting talks, discussions, as well
as social events, which include our partners. Our objective is to raise money

Sandhurst Lawn Tennis Club
We play on the 3 excellent courts in the Memorial Park, behind the Community
Centre, every Sunday morning 10 - 12 all year round, and on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings 6 - 8 p.m. in the summer. This winter season we will also be playing
floodlit tennis on Thursday evenings at Sandhurst Sports Centre from 7 - 9 p.m.
The club plays in the Berkshire leagues and we are always looking for enthusiastic
intermediates, particularly ladies. We have a fully qualified LTA coach who
has a wide range of courses for all abilities and ages. Come along and try a

We meet at the Sandhurst Day Centre every Thursday evening at 7.30.p.m.and would

We meet on the first Thursday of every month in a member's home. We
have talks, demonstrations and social evenings. We also arrange weekend activities

There is an exercise to music class for the 50+ taken by a qualified instructor

& Sandhurst Art Society
Meet every second and fourth Friday each month from 730 to 930pm at St Sebastians
Memorial Hall on the Nine Mile Ride Crowthorne. They also meet every Wednesday
afternoon from 1 30 to 3.30pm at the same hall, to paint together in an informal
atmosphere.
There are regular demonstrations and workshops, where every ability is welcome.
New members are always welcome and visitors may attend demonstrations at a cost

Yateley
and Crowthorne Big Band Society
The Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Tythings Community
Centre, Reading Road, Yateley. The meetings are from 7.45 to 10.30 and members
enjoy a variety of recorded music from the swing era, listening to bands such
as Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Ted Heath, to name but a few. Members
and guest presenters choose the programmes. If you enjoy tuneful swinging music
in a happy friendly atmosphere then come and join us. New members are always

Is a friendly organisation providing a “Good Neighbour” service
for our community.

The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month (except January & August).
Meetings are held at the Parish Hall, Heath Hill Road, Crowthorne. Doors open
at 7.00 and meeting formally begins at 7.30pm. The club is for everyone who
is interested in developing their skills in flower arranging. Each month there
is a professional demonstrator.
The Gardening
Club of Sandhurst and District
Meetings are held in the Sandhurst Community Hall, third Wednesday (no meeting
Aug) in each month at 7.30pm, except June & Sept when flower shows are held,
visitors welcome. The Garden Club hut is situated at the rear of 'The Coffee
Spot'” on the Memorial Park and is open to members from 9-10.45am on Sundays.
